(Sept. 24, 2013– New York, NY) Critically acclaimed 19-year old British singer-songwriterJake Bugg, the youngest male artist in UK chart history to debut at #1 with his first album, has completed work on his second album,SHANGRI LA, which is set to arrive January 14thon Island Records in the U.S., with sneak peek 5 song EP available November 18th. The video for“What Doesn’t Kill You,”New track fromSHANGRI LA, will premieretomorrowon VEVO, and will go up for sale at iTunes on September 30th.
Jake is currently in the midst of a sold out U.S.tour that will include performances on TBS’sConanwith Conan O’Brien on October 1st, and upcoming Front and Center special on PBSthis fall. (To date, Jake has appeared in the U.S. on CBS’sThe Late Showwith David Letterman, NBC Universal’sThe Ellen DeGeneres Show, and NBC’sThe Tonight Showwith Jay Leno.) The tour winds down with two separate performances at the Austin City Limits Festival in Texas on October 4thand 11th. Jake will return to the U.S. top of the year with a headline tour kicking off January 8that The Electric Factory in Philadelphia, PA.

His eponymous debut album,Jake Bugg, released April 9thin the U.S. on Island Records, was awarded an ultra-rare 4-star album review fromRolling Stone, who declared it “a small revelation” with “vivid storytelling. . .
